Troop movements of the Waterloo Campaign, June 1815: Napoleon's advance into Belgium and the converging Allied and Prussian armies.
The campaign that ended the Napoleonic Wars, compressed into four days of marching and three battles. The map traces Napoleon's thrust across the Sambre to split Wellington's Anglo-allied army from Blücher's Prussians, the twin battles of Quatre Bras and Ligny on 16 June, and the concentration at Waterloo on 18 June 1815, where the arrival of the Prussians on the French flank decided the day.
