The Big Picture: This Is Fourth Army
An episode of the US Army television series The Big Picture, touring Fourth Army and contrasting guided-missile-era forces with those of earlier wars.
The Big Picture ran on American television for nearly two decades and was made by the Army itself, which makes it useful twice over: as a record of units and equipment, and as evidence of how the Cold War military explained itself to civilians. The contrast it draws between missiles and earlier weapons is exactly the shift that made nuclear sharing an alliance question.
